Jabar Gaffney is a former professional American football wide receiver who played in the NFL for 11 seasons. He was born on December 1, 1980, in Jacksonville, Florida.
Gaffney played college football at the University of Florida, where he was a standout receiver for the Gators. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft and went on to play for several other teams during his career, including the New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Washington Redskins, and Miami Dolphins.
Throughout his career, Gaffney was known for his reliable hands, precise route-running, and ability to make tough catches in traffic. He had a solid NFL career, finishing with over 5,000 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns.
After retiring from professional football, Gaffney has worked as a high school football coach and continues to stay involved in the game.
